Covert bullying

Covert and cyberbullying has become a growing issue for many Australian schools.

NCAB members Professor Donna Cross and Professor Phillip Slee were involved in conducting research commissioned by the Australian Government to better understand the issues and impact on schools.

The Australian Government commissioned two research studies into covert bullying.

The first study, the Australian Covert Bullying Prevalence Study, was conducted by Edith Cowan University.  This study investigated the prevalence and impact of covert bullying in Australian schools.

Behind the Scenes: Insights into the Human Dimension of Covert Bullying was the second study conducted.  Undertaken by the University of South Australia in conjunction with Flinders University the study explored real life experiences of individuals exposed to covert bullying.
